♥ Silicone Mold : Tips To Use With Clay ♥
Since different clays have different features, there are clays which are stickier than the others and so affect the pop out effect, in the case, we would recommend:
– For polymer clay, bake your clay right in the mold without concerns of clay distortion from de-molding OR you can put the clay into the fridge for around 5-10 minutes.
– For air dry clay, leave the clay in the mould for for 1-2 days before removing it.

Tell us about your background :
Hi, I come from Surabaya, Indonesia. Art n craft has become a part of me since I was little. Various types of craft skills have been tried since childhood until today. In the last, I found clay as a means of creativity. Start from the curiosity, I began more serious to pursue and learn to create things that I want with my own way. I did a lot of experiments to make some 3D shapes from my sketches or 2D pictures. Mostly I like to make figures and miniatures. In 2011 to 2012, I wrote two clay books. My first book was Clay dalam Bingkai, and the second was Clay Figure. Until now I still continue to learn many things about clay. And yes… I love claying so much.

At that time I was not familiar with clay books and tutorials on youtube, so I tried it myself with a lot of failures. From the many failures, I finally began to recognize the nature and character of clay that I use, so now I can form whatever I want with clay . Continue reading →
