Tell us about your background:

My name is Agatha Wang and I studied my undergraduate degree in Marine Science in Sabah, Malaysia before coming to the UK to study for my masters at Cardiff University in Computer Science. Both have shaped my work and business in equal measures.

First experience with clay/ how you got started with clay:

My brother, Simon Peter, discovered the clay crafts workshop and suggested to me to give it a try. It was a painful yet interesting experience as I hadn’t realized that I’d signed up for an advance workshop! The horoscopes were my first crafts that I made with air dry clay and I was only able to finish a few of them in the workshop before I came to the UK.

Silicone Molds for Polymer Clay, Air Dry Clay, Soap and Cake Decorations

Malaysia Clay Art silicone molds are used to make wonderful shapes and designs with polymer clay, air dry clay, resin clay, soap, gum paste and fondant molded cake decorations, candles and many more.

♥ Silicone Mold : Tips To Use With Clay ♥

– For polymer clay, bake your clay right in the mold without concerns of clay distortion from de-molding OR you can put the clay into the fridge for around 5-10 minutes.
– For air dry clay, leave the clay in the mould for for 1-2 days before removing it.

petra polymer clay artist from surabaya

Tell us about your background :

Hi, I come from Surabaya, Indonesia. Art n craft has become a part of me since I was little. Various types of craft skills have been tried since childhood until today. In the last, I found clay as a means of creativity. Start from the curiosity, I began more serious to pursue and learn to create things that I want with my own way. I did a lot of experiments to make some 3D shapes from my sketches or 2D pictures. Mostly I like to make figures and miniatures. In 2011 to 2012, I wrote two clay books. My first book was Clay dalam Bingkai, and the second was Clay Figure. Until now I still continue to learn many things about clay. And yes… I love claying so much.

First experience with clay/ how you get started with clay :

I started my experience with clay a few years ago when I saw my piano student have a 2D small doll that she made from air dry clay. Following my curiosity, I tried to buy the air dry clay and made clay dolls on my own. At that time I was not familiar with clay books and tutorials on youtube, so I tried it myself with a lot of failures. From the many failures, I finally began to recognize the nature and character of clay that I use, so now I can form whatever I want with clay .
